Time — we squander it. Through unnecessary arguments. Frustrations. Judgments. We allow these things to grow and bloom into orchids of self-destruction — affecting our whole internal ecosystem.

If we water these seeds, which we often do, ill thoughts and feelings can cause immense stress. And when we blame others for causing the issues in our lives, we provide rich fertilizer for negativity all around.

Irrespective of the setting, when in a heightened situation, our bodies react. The initial reaction itself is not innately immoral. But when we don’t take time between the reaction and our response to a stimulus, we put ourselves in danger.

Someone yells at you. Your body involuntarily reacts before your mouth does. And if you haven’t taken time to pause, the words — the response that comes out — can be devastating.

We must do everything slowly in a world where the default is going warp speed. Only then can we free ourselves from the chains of negative energy. Love and intention create a beautiful, bountiful garden. Tend to life like a garden with the respect it deserves.
